The NBT (National Benchmark Test) are required for certain courses at university. The Maths test covers all the Maths work of the Grade 11 and Grade 12 curriculum. It is best to schedule your test as late as possible in the year, after the curriculum has been covered by the school, usually by the end of the third term. See https://www.nbt.ac.za (the official website of the test).
Remember that NBT does NOT allow your calculator into the exam room, so make sure you know your TRIG relations: the values of the special angles (30°, 45°, 60°), as well as all the TRIG equations on the Information Sheet. Also commit to memory the Analytical Geometry equations. They do NOT require you to learn the financial formulas for P and F from memory, but make sure you know the formulas for simple and compound interest.

I recommend that you buy the Maths Past Paper book for Grade 12 from Examination Aid. They allocate each question according to the chapters in the book, which is of great help to practice questions for certain chapters, especially during the course of the year, when you are writing on only certain chapters, and not on all work done during the year. The money spent on this book will pay off!
